Industrial Sensors for Process Control & Automation

Adarsh Industrial Automation supplies a wide range of industrial sensors for detection, measurement and process feedback in automation systems. Whether you need a simple proximity sensor for a machine guard or a melt pressure transducer for a plastics extruder, we stock and recommend the right sensor for your application — and integrate it with your PLC, HMI or control panel.

Note: Sensor specifications (brand, model, sensing range, output type) vary by application. Please contact us with your requirement — we will recommend and quote the correct product.

Sensor Types We Supply

Industrial proximity sensor for object detection in automation

Proximity Sensor

Detects the presence or absence of objects without physical contact. Available in inductive type (for metals) and capacitive type (for non-metals, liquids, powders).

Uses: Machine guarding, position sensing, conveyor counting
Photoelectric sensor for through-beam and diffuse detection

Photoelectric Sensor

Uses light (visible or infrared) to detect objects, distance or surface conditions. Available in through-beam, retro-reflective and diffuse-reflective configurations.

Uses: Object detection, level sensing, web break detection
Capacitive sensor for detecting non-metallic objects and liquid levels

Capacitive Sensor

Detects both metallic and non-metallic targets including liquids, granules and powders by sensing changes in capacitance.

Uses: Level detection, fill level monitoring, granule detection
Inductive and capacitive sensors for industrial automation

Inductive & Capacitive Sensors

Inductive sensors detect metallic objects through electromagnetic induction — highly reliable and wear-free. Often offered alongside capacitive sensors for complementary detection needs.

Uses: Metal part detection, gear tooth sensing, position feedback
Ultrasonic sensor for distance and level measurement

Ultrasonic Sensor

Measures distance and detects objects using high-frequency sound waves. Works on transparent objects and surfaces regardless of colour or material.

Uses: Tank level measurement, distance measurement, object detection
Laser sensor for high precision distance and position measurement

Laser Sensor

High-precision detection and measurement using a focused laser beam. Suitable for small targets, long distances and high-speed applications.

Uses: Precise position sensing, profile measurement, label detection
Fibre optic sensor for detection in confined or high temperature areas

Fibre Optic Sensor

Uses flexible fibre optic cables to carry light to and from a remote sensing head. Ideal for tight spaces, high-temperature environments and areas with electrical interference.

Uses: Confined space detection, high-temperature applications, EX zones
Thermocouple and RTD temperature sensors for industrial process control

Thermocouple / RTD Sensor

Temperature sensing elements for industrial process control. Thermocouples suit high-temperature ranges; RTDs (Pt100/Pt1000) provide higher accuracy at lower temperatures.

Uses: Furnace, oven, extruder, boiler and process temperature monitoring
Melt pressure transducer for plastic extrusion and injection moulding

Melt Pressure Transducer

Measures pressure of molten plastic or other high-viscosity melts directly inside the extruder barrel or die. Designed for extremely high temperatures and pressures.

Uses: Plastic extrusion, injection moulding, blown film lines
Colour mark sensor for registration mark detection on packaging lines

Colour Mark Sensor

Detects printed registration marks or colour contrasts on moving webs, films and labels. Enables precise synchronisation of cutting and printing operations.

Uses: Packaging lines, label printing, film cutting synchronisation
Luminescence sensor for detecting UV fluorescent marks on packaging

Luminescence Sensor

Detects fluorescent marks invisible to the naked eye by illuminating with UV light. Used for authentication and registration mark detection on high-speed packaging lines.

Uses: Security mark detection, UV mark registration on packaging
Door and area sensor for machine safety and access control

Door / Area Sensor

Safety-oriented sensors for detecting open guards, access doors or personnel entering a machine work zone. Supports safe machine stop interlocking.

Uses: Machine guarding, access door monitoring, safety interlocks
Radar sensor for level measurement in tanks and silos

Radar Sensor

Non-contact level measurement using microwave radar signals. Unaffected by dust, vapour, temperature variations or changing material properties — ideal for challenging process conditions.

Uses: Silo level measurement, tank level, bulk material monitoring
